parents and the school district coming up on fox 23 news tonight for covering news that matters, i am nina carter fox 23 news.> firefighters are working to put out hat -- hotspots at a pet manufacturing plant in henryetta . check out this image we got.
you can see flames shooting through the roof. jj burton is live for fox 23 with what is left of that building in henryetta reporter: i want to start right here. this is the front of the building.
this was the office park. firefighters believe this is where the fire started. if we pan over this way, back that way is the processing part of this plant. they say about 50% of that is burnt and all the food inside, the product, is gone as well.
the good news is the warehouse is still intact and all of the food they had processed and prepared for shipping is still there. here is video of that fire. you can see huge, bright, orange flames shooting from the roof of this building,
completely destroying the office and part of the processing plant. i spoke to a man named scott, the manager here. one of two employees who works in this building. he says he has no idea what he is going to do.
it ain't good. we had trucks going in today and coming out today. it's on fire. reporter: right now, they got most of this fire out with those hotspots. we are starting to smell the pet food in the air.
it is a thick smell. just pet food all around this area. that food didn't make it easy fighting this fire and neither
